How to Load Your Bite Deodorant: A Quick Guide

Step-by-Step Instructions

Remove the bottom of the case.
Don’t worry—there isn’t a missing part! The metal bottom is detachable so you can insert your Deo, and hollow to let you push up the paperboard refill when you’re ready to apply. -
Uncap the paperboard refill.
The refill comes in its own protective paperboard. Remove the cap but leave the deodorant stick inside the paper tube—it’s part of the design! -
Slide the paperboard refill into the case.
Make sure the refill is positioned evenly and slide it into the body of the case until it fits snugly. -
Reattach the bottom of the case.
Slide the hollow metal bottom back into place. -
Push up to apply deodorant.
The hollow base lets you push the paperboard refill up as you go. -
Replace the cap.
Once you’re done, pop the metal cap back on and toss your deodorant in your bag for a convenient, on-the-go refresh.

Troubleshooting Common Issues

The refill doesn’t fit into the case.
Double-check that you’ve removed the hollow bottom piece of the case. If it still doesn’t fit, try reshaping the deodorant refill by flattening any misshapen areas before sliding it in. If it feels snug, that’s okay—use a bit of extra force, but it shouldn’t be impossible. -
My deodorant doesn’t stay up when I apply.
Over time, the refill might loosen slightly inside the case. No worries—our case is intentionally designed to be short so you can use your finger to support the refill while you apply. -
The edges of my deodorant crumbled when I first applied.
This sometimes happens if the edges are sharp or if the deodorant shifted during insertion. Gently smooth the edges with your finger or forearm. After a few uses, this won’t be an issue, and you can always save and use any crumbled pieces.
What to Do When You’re Done
When you’ve used up your refill, simply remove it from the case and toss the paperboard in your compost! It’s 100% plastic-free and fully compostable.
